Danny O’Donoghue, lead singer with upcoming Irish music sensation The Script, is the apple of Taylor Swift’s eye, according to a recent report.
Swift revealed she had a crush on him. But appearing on Australia TV today, O’Donoghue coyly sidestepped a question about whether there was anything shaking with the country singer.
Ahead of her own Australian tour, Swift this week said she is single, She recently told a UK paper: “I have a crush on the singer from The Script. He is cute.”
O’Donoghue, with his Elvis-like raven hair, bounced through a performance of a new song during his TV appearance. The band has fronted for U2 and has played to high acclaim.
Swift has been seen hanging out backstage at an event with O’Donoghue.
I’m just five days from my performance in the 2009 Wanna Dance Performance. My partner David Betts and I have been practicing feverishly wherever we can find a space. We have practiced in fellowship halls, the radio station’s basement, and athletic clubs, but last night we had the opportunity to practice on the huge stage at Brookland High School. It was so cool being up on that stage. It was the most fun practice we’ve had so far. You really feel the routine when you’re on the stage.
I do want to commend all the participants who are competing in this contest. Just so you know, we’re just regular people doing this contest. With little or no dance experience. I fall into the NO EXPERIENCE group. But! I will tell you we are having a blast. Our routine will be fun and entertaining. I know you’ll love it.
I hope I can count on seeing you in the audience Tuesday night, October 6th at 7pm. We perform at the Valley View Performing Arts Center. You can vote the night of the performance or online NOW, even before we dance. Click the link below. $1 per vote. Please vote alot! It’s for a great cause! I know I can count on you! You never let me down. Thank you!
